The 1985–86 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments played between July 1985 and May 1986. The following table outlines the results for ranking events and the invitational events.
New professional players
[edit]The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) accepted the following fifteen players as snooker professionals.[1][2] Thirty-two players had their applications rejected, including Joe O'Boye, Terry Whitthread and Jon Wright.[1]
