The 2019 Malaysia Open (officially known as the Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open 2019 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament which took place at Axiata Arena in Malaysia from 2 to 7 April 2019 and had a total purse of $700,000.

Tournament

The 2019 Malaysia Open was the ninth tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the Malaysia Open championships, which had been held since 1937. This tournament was organized by the Badminton Association of Malaysia with sanction from the BWF.^[1]

Venue

This international tournament was held at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.^[1]
