The Abram Demaree House is a historic Dutch Colonial house located at 45 Old Hook Road in the borough of Closter in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The oldest part of the sandstone house was built from 1760 to 1769 by Abram Demaree. It was expanded in 1809 with a two-story Federal style main section built by his son David A. Demaree. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 1, 1979, for its significance in architecture and exploration/settlement.[1][3] It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).[4]
