Aderbal Lana (born 10 November 1946), is a Brazilian former professional footballer and manager, who played as a defender.
Player career
[edit]Aderbal played as a defender, having started his career at Uberlândia EC, in his hometown. He also played for Anápolis, Atlético Goianiense and Itumbiara.[1]
Managerial career
[edit]Aderbal Lana began his career in 1976, the year he retired. The coach was notable for the work carried out by Amazonas teams, especially São Raimundo in the late 1990s. He was runner-up in 1999 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C against Fluminense, in addition to achieving a historic victory against São Paulo in the 2003 Copa do Brasil.[2] He is the record holder for the Amazonense Championship, with 9 titles for four different clubs, in addition to being the oldest professional coach active in Brazil, aged 77.[1][3][4] He is currently the coach of Monte Roraima FC.[5][6]
