Azaan Sami Khan (born 22 May 1993) is a Pakistani music composer and actor. He is the son of musician Adnan Sami and actress Zeba Bakhtiar. Khan is known for composing music for some of Lollywood's hit films, including Parey Hut Love, Superstar and Parwaaz Hai Junoon. Some of his notable tracks from these films are Haye Dil, Noori and Ghalat Fehmi.[3]
Early life
[edit]Khan was born on 22 May 1993, in Karachi, Pakistan.[4] He is the son of music composer Adnan Sami Khan and actress Zeba Bakhtiar.[5][6][7] He spent his teenage days in India with his father, who later applied for the Indian citizenship, but Khan chose Pakistan as his home.[8]
Career
[edit]Khan made his debut in the music industry with Main Tera album, for which he collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It features nine songs including tracks, including "Main Tera", which received over five million YouTube views within the first month.[9] In 2021, he released the single "TU" featuring actress Mahira Khan.[10]
Later, Khan made his acting debut in a drama serial Ishq E Laa, alongside Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi.[6][11]
Personal life
[edit]Azaan married Sophia Bilgrami and with her he has two children a son name Ibrahim and a daughter name Lily; later the couple divorced on mutual terms.[2]
