The Central District of Bavanat County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بوانات) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bavanat.[3][a]
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 25,136 in 6,772 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 16,442 people in 4,718 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 16,698 inhabitants in 5,210 households.[2]
