Amselia heringi is a species of moth in the family Crambidae.[1] The species was first described by Hans Georg Amsel in 1935,[a] and is the type species of genus Amselia.[2]

It is found in multiple countries in the Middle East, as well as Morocco.[3] Its type locality is in Israel.[3]

The forewing colour is variable.[3]
