David Johnathan Pinto-Duschinsky is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Hendon since 2024.[1] His majority is currently the smallest of any MP elected in the 2024 General Election at only 15 votes.[2]
He previously stood against George Osborne in Tatton in the 2015 General Election.
Background[edit]
Pinto-Duschinsky, the son of Holocaust survivor and scholar Michael Pinto-Duschinsky, served as an adviser to the former Labour Chancellor Alistair Darling[3] and Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit[4] prior to his election as an MP. He was educated at Oxford University and was President of the Oxford Union in 1995.
He worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company[4] and then as a partner at Ernst & Young.[5]
