Kristian Nökkvi Hlynsson (born 23 January 2004) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Iceland national team.
Club career
[edit]Kristian started his career with Breiðablik before transferring to Ajax in January 2020.[2][3] During his youth career, Hlynsson also spent time at English club Norwich City.[4]
He made his Eredivisie debut, for the first team, on 19 August 2023 in a 2–2 draw against Excelsior.[5]
International career
[edit]Kristian has featured for the under-15, under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-21 Icelandic youth national teams.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Kristian is the younger brother of Breiðablik player Ágúst Hlynsson.[7]
