Melanie Moore is an American women's basketball coach who is the current assistant head coach at Michigan. She previously served as the head coach at Xavier.[1]

Coaching career

Michigan

In 2012, Moore was named an assistant coach at Michigan. On May 18, 2018, she was promoted to associate head coach under head coach Kim Barnes Arico.[2]

On March 30, 2023, Moore returned to Michigan as an assistant coach.[3]

Xavier

On April 5, 2019, Moore was named head coach at Xavier.[4][5] She replaced Brian Neal who stepped down as head coach of the program at the end of the 2018–19 season.[6]

Personal life

Moore is married to her husband Joe, they have two children, Tristin and Ayla.[7]
