Middlesbrough and Thornaby East is a constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested in the 2024 general election.[2]

The seat is the successor to the Middlesbrough constituency, subject to alignment of the boundaries to take account of a revised local authority ward structure. In order for the electorate to be within the permitted range, the two Stockton-on-Tees wards, comprising the eastern part of the town of Thornaby-on-Tees, are to be transferred from Stockton South (abolished).[3]
