Robin Lee Ross (born August 17, 1954) is an American gridiron football coach. He was most recently the linebackers coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL).[1]
College career
[edit]Ross played college football for Rio Hondo College and the Washington State Cougars.
Professional career
[edit]Ross was drafted in the tenth round of the 1976 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He also played for the Seattle Seahawks.[2]
Coaching career
[edit]Ross has coached for Long Beach State,[3] Cincinnati,[4] Washington State, Iowa State, Western Washington, Fresno State, Oregon,[5] Oregon State,[6][7] UNLV, and Wyoming.[8] He was the head football coach for Western Washington University from 2006 until the school dropped the sport in 2008.[9][10] He has also coached for the Oakland Raiders and the BC Lions.[11][12]
