Sunuka is an administrative ward in Uvinza District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 799 km2 (308 sq mi),[2] and has an average elevation of 930 m (3,050 ft).[3] In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 39,651 people in the ward, from 36,023 in 2012.[4][1]: 127 [5]: 151
