I don't see the point in listing 'vice presidential candidates' on this template. There was only a formal contest for the Democratic party's presidential nominee; the vice presidential candidate was, as always, picked by the presidential candidate, and there was no formal list of competitors. I'm not sure what this list was based on, so I've removed all Democratic 'vice presidential candidates' other than the eventual nominee, Al Gore. The other templates in this series seem to do the same thing - I might make the same changes to them too. Robofish (talk) 00:14, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
