Template talk:Cream
Hello.
This is my new Cream template, lovely and pink for Disraeli Gears. Let me know what you think/what needs changing/whether I should scrap the whole thing before I start incorporating it into the various Cream pages. - MightyMoose22 06:38, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think it looks good. Just a suggestion: how about using a darker pink (say "hotpink") for the "Cream" banner and leaving the other two banners "pink". Have a look at Template:The Beatles. --Bruce1ee 08:05, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought there might be a better (darker, more "Disraeli") pink somewhere out there, but didn't (and still don't) know how to find out what it was called. Thanks for the input. - MightyMoose22 08:17, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- That looks better. For lists of colours have a look at Web colors or HTML colours. You can also specify the colour by its hexadecimal number. --Bruce1ee 08:26, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks a lot. - MightyMoose22 08:45, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

I still think it should be pink. - MightyMoose22 22:31, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Collaborators
[edit]I moved the names of people who have worked with Cream further down into their own section, as I felt the previous format, judging by the standards of other band templates, may have implied they were actually band members. I've named this section "Collaborators" although I'm not sure if this is necessarily the best title. Jellyman (talk) 17:57, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Other Tracks
[edit]I made a new group on the template titled "Other Tracks" and features B-sides like SWLABR, Blues covers like Rollin' and Tumblin', and other album tracks like Toad (instrumental). Rock'N'More (talk) 21:40, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]- 1) Template:navbox musical artist is used to provide easy access to WP articles related to an artist or group. Cream were well-known for their renditions of older blues songs, including "Rollin' and Tumblin'", "I'm So Glad", "Sitting on Top of the World", and "Born Under a Bad Sign". Removing seven songs does not make the navbox "neater"; it only reduces access to related articles. Rock'N'More thought that it was important enough when they added them in 2010 (also see their comment in the above section).
- 2) Cream's Farewell Concert was originally a "film" – the fact that it was later released on video does not change this. "Video album" is usually used for collections (an album) of music videos or performances first released on DVD, etc., instead of film.
