Hello all, I have two questions about this template. First, is the current organizing principle of listing active ingredients rather than commercially available combinations or products the most accessible way to design this template? I recognize that listing particular brand names is problematic given the global variety that exists, but most people are unlikely to be familiar with the names of individual active ingredients, so this template is likely to be useful only to medical specialists.
Second, the progestin section in organized by "generation". I am a PhD reproductive endocrinologist, and I am unsure what the categories of first, second, third, etc. generation mean. I am trying to add Segesterone Acetate to the progestin section and cannot find any documentation as to what "generation" this compound is. Is it worth considering removal or reorganization of these subcategories? Willmskinner (talk) 22:26, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
