Template talk:List of rail transit stations in Greater KL

Created template

[edit]

I created this template to avoid confusion to people who do not know all the LRT stations. Since Singapore already has its own template, why don't I create one for Malaysia. Many of the stations are not created, and I will do so as soon as possible. Anyone is welcomed to add to the perfection of this template. Thank you. Acs4b 10:01, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I still believe in integration, can we put KL monorail, KTM komuter, KLIA transit n ekspress stations as well? I found the current disintegration is very difficult for a foreigner and local alike. I suggest wikipedia to be used for a better integration. Zack2007 05:27, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why not put: Sri Petaling Line - LRT; Kelana Jaya Line (LRT); or LRT - Ampang Jaya Line ? and KTM Komuter (Rawang Line); etc..kawaputra 08:22, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that would be more confusing. It is better to indiscriminate the modes and treat the line similarly. If i am not mistaken, the government is starting to have official colour and letter codes (A, B, C, etc) for each of the lines, am I correct? --Zack2007 09:09, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
ya. probably thats less confusing. kawaputra 09:45, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Malaysia flag

[edit]

This isn't a Malaysia-related article.

Singapore's doesn't have the Singapore flag on it, although it has the system logo, which KL doesn't. Painkille 15:25, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

{{stub}}

[edit]

I suggest that we create a stub template for all the Klang Valley train stations as the malaysian stub template is too full. It may be named {{malaysia-train-stub}} or {{malaysia-rail-stub}}. However, I think all lines in Klang Valley should use this template as it already has 70+ stations, good for a stub. Acs4b 05:53, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest {{malaysia-rail-stub}} Zack2007 06:19, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Station category

[edit]

I see no practicality to include Category:Rail Transport (Klang Valley) stations in this box because Komuter stations close to the Seremban end aren't even in Selangor (more acurately, Negeri Sembilan) or the Klang Valley. The only reason this isn't an issue now is because articles on stations in NS don't exist. - Two hundred percent 06:17, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm getting close to completing population of more relevant and properly named categories. As soon as this is done, we won't need Category:Rail Transport (Klang Valley) stations in here anymore. I'm assuming the lack of response indicates an agreement. - Two hundred percent 07:31, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok I agree of what you are doing. As long as this template stays at it is. --Zack2007 07:55, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think these new named categories are better and more organised than the previous one. Acs4b 12:10, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Ampang line now serves all the stations from Sentul Timur to Ampang. Stations from Chan Sow Lin to Sentul Timur must be added. Draco97 (talk) 03:47, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New template name

[edit]

Since the stations covers the area of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Selangor, even until Negeri Sembilan and Melaka, thus the title of this template need to be renamed to fully cover those areas. Klang Valley is limited to only Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and parts of Selangor. Chongkian (talk) 01:39, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
