I note that this template is in Category:American writer navigational boxes, but not Category:English writer navigational boxes. While Paine did live in America and was political active in America, he was born and spent much of his life in England. Also he did much of his writing in England including the The Rights of Man, which had a major impact on political discourse in Europe and was aimed at British reformers.
