There is no need for this navbox. All relevant athletic articles were contained in the {{Western Michigan University}} template. There is now an overlap between the navboxes. There are not enough notable topics for an entire navbox to be created just for WMU football. Also, I don't believe the Bronco Marching Band will ever be a notable topic and not all college team seasons are notable.

This is a case where consistency is not the way to go. There are now two navboxes that cover different topics. Removing football from the general WMU template will leave an entire area that will now be missing. — X96lee15 (talk) 01:20, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
