Malformed 3RR reports

[edit]

Hello Ayushsinha2222. Regarding this report. Please see the instructions at the top of WP:AN3 for how to create a report. We should be able to see the name of the person reported, the name of the article, and the diffs that you believe show a pattern of edit warring. See HELP:DIFF. The diffs are easier with Twinkle. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:57, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your help. I will go through the same at once. I am indebted to you. Ayushsinha2222 (talk) 19:15, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Self-published and user-generated content in biographies

[edit]

Hi Advaita2222, this is about your contributions to the article about H. C. Verma. If I see correctly, your source for Special:Diff/1082920051 is "biharprofile.com".

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please inform yourself about the reliability of sources and the biographies of living persons policy. Specifically, please note that using user-generated or self-published sources as references for content about living people on Wikipedia is prohibited (WP:BLPRS), and that persistently doing so may lead to a block from editing or a topic ban from editing such articles.

If you are concerned about the verifiability of a statement on Wikipedia, you are welcome to remove it. However, you must not replace it by other unverifiable information. When in doubt, Wikipedia prefers no information to misinformation.

The huge table at WP:RSP may help to understand common concerns about sources that have been discussed before.

Best regards,
