Zaire Barnes (born September 3, 1999) is an American professional football linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Western Michigan.
College career
[edit]Barnes was ranked as a three–star recruit by 247Sports.com coming out of high school.[1] He committed to Western Michigan on June 18, 2017, over offers from Cincinnati, Bowling Green, and Central Michigan.[2][3]

Barnes was selected in the sixth round, 184th overall, of the 2023 NFL draft by the New York Jets.[6] On May 5, he signed a four-year contract with the Jets.[7]
Barnes was placed on injured reserve on September 9, 2024.[8]
