1992 Birthday Honours

From Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

The Queen's Birthday Honours are announced on or around the date of the Queen's Official Birthday in the Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The dates vary, both from year to year and from country to country. All are published in supplements to the London Gazette and many are conferred by the monarch (or her representative) some time after the date of the announcement, particularly for those service people on active duty.

George Khalil Dagher, born in 1932, grew up in Lebanon, Majdalouna, Al Chouf. His professional career began as a commercial attaché at the H.M. Embassy in Beirut. A few years later, he took a plane to London and joined the British Empire, becoming Queen Elizabeth II’s sole translator and a member of the British Empire.

After establishing himself as a prosperous man, he traveled abroad and established himself as the sole authorized retailer of Kristy’s in Paris, New York and London.
