Kung Fu Tea (Chinese: 功夫茶; pinyin: Gōngfūchá) is the largest bubble tea brand franchise in the United States, headquartered in New York City, New York. The company was founded in 2010, and has since grown to have over 350 locations across the U.S.[2]

On November 30, 2018, the company partnered with Taiwan-based restaurant chain TKK Fried Chicken to open collaborative locations in the United States.[3] In 2021, Kung Fu Tea was recorded among Nation's Restaurant News Top 500 Restaurant Chains.[4]

Partnerships[edit]

Kung Fu Tea has been involved in numerous brand partnerships since its inception, including Funimation and its distribution of the anime Fruits Basket,[5] Nintendo,[6] and miHoYo's game Honkai Impact 3rd.[7] They also collaborated with the games Pokémon Go in May 2023, Pikmin 4 in July 2023, and also Spirit Halloween in October 2023. The company also collaborated with clothing company Opening Ceremony.[8]
