Overview[edit]

The American professional wrestling promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) promotes several professional wrestling championships for its men's and women's divisions. ROH often broadcasts championship matches on their weekly television programs, Honor Club, while also being featured on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) regularly. Major championship defenses also occur at the promotion's periodic pay-per-view events.

Men[edit]

At the top of ROH's championship hierarchy for male wrestlers is the ROH World Championship. It is held by first time champion Mark Briscoe, who defeated Eddie Kingston at Supercard of Honor on April 5, 2023.

The secondary title for male wrestlers is the ROH World Television Championship, which is currently held by first time champion Kyle Fletcher. Previous champion Samoa Joe voluntarily vacated the title to concentrate on pursuing the AEW World Championship. On December 15, 2023 at Final Battle, Fletcher won the six-way finals of the Survival of the Fittest tournament, defeating Bryan Keith, Dalton Castle, Komander, Lee Johnson, and Lee Moriarty to become the new champion.

The ROH Pure Championship is a specialty championship, featuring matches being conducted under "Pure Wrestling Rules".[2] It is held by record three-time champion Wheeler Yuta, who defeated Katsuyori Shibata at Rampage on November 25, 2023.

The ROH World Tag Team Championship is ROH's traditional tag team title, being contested by teams of two wrestlers. The current champions are The Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett and Matt Taven), who are in their third reign, both individually and as a team. Wrestling as The Devil's Masked Men, they defeated MJF (defending the titles on behalf of himself and injured partner Adam Cole) in a handicap match on December 27, 2023 at Dynamite: New Year's Smash. They would eventually reveal their identities three nights later at AEW World's End.

The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship is a title contested by teams of three wrestlers, currently held by first time champions Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn), who defeated Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) on the January 17, 2024 live broadcast of AEW Dynamite.

Women[edit]

ROH has two championships for its women's division. The primary title is the ROH Women's World Championship, which is held by first-time champion Athena, who defeated Mercedes Martinez at Final Battle on December 10, 2022.[3]

The secondary title for the women's division is the ROH Women's World Television Championship. Billie Starkz is the inaugural and current champion, defeating Queen Aminata in the finals of 16-woman tournament to become the first title holder on April 5, 2024 at Supercard of Honor.
