Monocytopoiesis

From Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

Monocytopoiesis is the process which leads to the production of monocytes (and, subsequently, macrophages).

It can be induced by macrophage colony-stimulating factor.[citation needed]

It is a component of myelopoiesis.[1]
