Summary of the series: More Than Blue is a series about the touching story of love, grief, and cruel twists of fate. The story begins with producer Wang Bohan of a Records Company and his assistant An Yiqi trying to trace who holds the copyright of a song. Wang Bohan knew that the songwriter K died from blood cancer three years ago, and he heard that the lyricist Cream was also no longer alive. They discover the story when they find the diary of K. The main character Chang Che-kai(a.k.a K) is a high school senior with a miserable life. While he is preparing for his exam to get into university, his dad is closing his cherished record store because he was diagnosed with leukemia. Moreover, his mother left because she could no longer bear the pressure of caring for patients. When K was 16 years old, his father killed three people while driving. As a result, his father's health condition worsened, and died. At this time, K discovered that he also had leukemia. A girl, Sung Yuan-yuan (Cream) her parents and her sister both died in a car accident. She tries to become close to K for revenge but finds that K also lost his parents.
