Template not an article, etc.[edit]

Many popular-music templates are getting to be as long and complicated as articles. "See also" sections, for example, are surely unnecessary. Templates should also only contain directly relevant material; in this case, G-Unit albums belong in their own template rather than here. For full details, readers would expect to have to read the main article.

Note, inciedentally, that singles should always go in inverted commas, not italics. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 21:20, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, adding a section of collaborations is unnecessary for an infobox; this shouldn't try to duplicate a discography — it's just a box to be added to articles, not an article in its own right. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 21:47, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, putting things like "List of awards and nominations" definitely doesn't belong in the template. And G-Unit can definitely be removed because this is not about the group. Spellcast 10:50, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, don't add "mixtape" sections, "compilation" sections, etc., the template is not a discography. --- Realest4Life 23:18, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Singles[edit]

"How to Rob" was his first single. Go to this source, click on "Check out photos of 50 in his old 'hood", and go to the fifth picture in the series. "How to Rob", "Rowdy Rowdy", and "Thug Love" were officially released.[1]. There's even a music video of "Rowdy Rowdy".[2] Spellcast 20:28, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We have to use the official template; Template:Navbox Musician, which, in my opinion, does look rather good. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 10:03, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to add Power of the Dollar to the album list, since it was a studio album Triggtay (talk) 07:21, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
