Scope of this template[edit]

My goal in creating this template was to provide a systematic algorithm for diagnosis of skin diseases based on lesion morphology. I wanted to include all the "common" skin diseases, and a handful of uncommon ones in a format more user-friendly as compared with the {{Diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue}} template. I think the diseases I have selected for the template achieve this goal. I do not want the template to be too overwhelming; therefore, if you plan on adding anything to the template, maybe discuss it here first? Regardless, thank you for your help on wikipedia! I'm impressed, I'm glad you've found a few red links to put in here too. I'll certainly give you a hand in creating these topics over the next few weeks. Nice work, once again. —Cyclonenim (talk · contribs · email) 06:38, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I added some wikilinks from the section titles (blister, papule, etc.) Try to make some of the jargon clearer by giving links that explains it. (Didn't add the template to the pages since in the titles rather than contents of the template.)
Perhaps in some cases there are more specific articles than the ones I found (and there might be a few more that could use links). Zodon (talk) 06:08, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Order of items[edit]

What is the order of items within a grouping? If it is arbitrary, perhaps alphabetizing would be worthwhile. (Or grouping similar items, possibly with grouping term, if it simplifies the layout). Zodon (talk) 06:19, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would support alphabetizing. kilbad (talk) 11:47, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

State - collapsed[edit]

I am going to add |state = collapsed to this navbox as it is a big box and overpowers smaller articles on which it's used. – ukexpat (talk) 18:37, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Some clarification required[edit]

This template uses a number of terms that may be familar only to experts in dermatology. Some wiki-links are provided, but I'm still mystified what "Indurated", "Hypopigmented", "Blanchable Erythema", "Nonblanchable Purpura", "Macular" and "Eczematous" mean. And why is the distinction between "With epidermal involvement" and "Without epidermal involvement" important? Astronaut (talk) 01:44, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
