There has been a tremendous amount of back and forth tonight on this template. How about the editors in question discussing it here on this talk page instead of just reverting each other? SeaphotoTalk 07:58, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's a splendid idea. There is no stated or implied relationship between the two, it's just a tendentious editor that won't accept the edit is unwanted. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 08:03, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
IMHO, "Better Luck Tomorrow" is related because, not just Justin Lin directed the movie, but Sung Kang played the very same character (Han Lue) in two films of the franchise. This is in his topic on the "List of The Fast and the Furious characters" article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.15.15.45 (talk) 08:15, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
An explanation like that in either article would have saved you a lot of grief. As it is, that information still needs to be put in both articles for the information to be included in this template. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 12:20, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've protected the template, please come to some kind of consensus here. Edit warring doesn't help. Amalthea 08:40, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have now added (Although not officially part of The Fast and the Furious film series, the character of Han Lue, played by Sung Kang, makes an appearance in Better Luck Tomorrow, as Justin Lin also directed both The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious.) to the Better Luck Tomorrow article. 187.15.xxx.xx, you should have done something like this in the first place, rather than constant unexplained reversions making the rest of us guess what the heck relationship you envisioned. As it is, the relationship is tenuous, but at least it is clearer now.--Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 08:01, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, note to IP 187.15.xxx.xx-it is never a good idea to accuse longterm editors of vandalism-that is not a "discussion", that is trolling. You did this to three longterm editors, and with me repeatedly on my talkpage, hence my response to you, and my label of you as a tendentious editor. If multiple editors are reverting your changes, you are doing something wrong, and you need to ask yourself what you are doing wrong. Better Luck Tomorrow. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 08:08, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merged Articles[edit]

I have now merged both The Fast and the Furious: Drift and The Fast and the Furious: Super Bikes into The Fast and the Furious (arcade game). Shall I delete the links to the two now defunct articles? Should I just modify the link so it goes to the specific section? If I don't get any reply within a couple of weeks, I'm just gonna outright delete them. I don't think they need their own link. Adding lead actors to template[edit]

Would it not be acceptable to add a list of lead actors to the navbox for this series? I think it would be very useful... DLManiac (talk) 04:08, 3 February 2015 (UTC) Oh how I have learned some things in the last few years DLManiac (talk) 06:25, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
