Orwell Day[edit]

Hi. "Orwell Day" is currently a redirect to George Orwell, which has no reference to "Orwell Day" other than the template. Needless to say, this is less than helpful and somewhat confusing. Could someone speak to whether "Orwell Day" is in fact a regular occurrence that has some notability and merits its own entry? If not, let's please at least briefly describe "Orwell Day" in the article about George Orwell, or in some sub-article about honors & awards to him. And if it's not worth that much of a mention, then we ought to delete it from the template. Thoughts, anyone?
