Ardelia Mapp[edit]

Why are the boars on the template with their own article when Ardelia Mapp doesn't? She features quite prominently throughout the series, as she, overall in the entire series, is more important than Margot Verger. If articles such as the Boar article are going to be made, then we should make articles for all of the characters, such as even Barney and Cordell, or even Miggs and Sammie. 71.243.181.204 03:58, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Barney and Mapp I would agree deserve their own article. Cordell or Miggs, definitely not. But if you would like to put the boar article up for AFD and start ones for Barney and Mapp then go right ahead.--CyberGhostface 04:10, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Directors[edit]

Do the directors really belong on here? It doesn't tell you the important part (which film they directed) and if you want to find out, you can just click the corresponding film. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 11:45, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to remove them, go ahead.--CyberGhostface 20:56, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template:HannibalTemplate:Hannibal the Cannibal — Relisted. ≈ Chamal talk ¤ 05:37, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Logically, such a template should be used for Hannibal, the scourge of Rome. The character is known as "Hannibal the Cannibal", so the template for the fictional universe should be thusly named.

  • Comment the character 'Hannibal' has two differing spellings for its last name, "Lecter" and "Lektor", so "Hannibal the Cannibal" seems acceptable, and is also a fairly common. 65.94.252.177 (talk) 22:56, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • What about Template:Hannibal series? — AjaxSmack 04:19, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment "Hannibal the Cannibal" would be clear, since there are other fictional Hannibal series... 76.66.194.4 (talk) 03:37, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Since there is no template for Hannibal (of Carthage) and no working proposal to make one, I don't think this move would accomplish anything and may just create busywork. However, I don't disagree with the nom's rationale, it just seems unnecessary. Ham Pastrami (talk) 21:21, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment this does not match the article at Hannibal, so it is at the very least a misleading usage of this name for the template. 76.66.194.4 (talk) 03:36, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You go to {{Hannibal}}, and you get a template that is about a guy named Hannibal. This is misleading how? This move request is increasingly starting to sound like a case of WP:IDONTLIKEIT. Ham Pastrami (talk) 06:14, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support rename, but not sure about the proposed name. {{Hannibal Lecter series}} might work better. jgpTC 07:25, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Neutral - The template name is never seen by users. Why not just change the name in the title bar? Moving the page achieves very little.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:07, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Black Sunday[edit]

Shouldn't Black Sunday be listed in the Films section? --69.251.247.123 (talk) 02:06, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No. "Black Sunday" isn't part of the Hannibal Lecter series. Zuko Halliwell (talk) 15:20, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
