NYC Metro Market List as of 2014[edit]

According to Nielsen Market Metro Map 2014 (PDF), the following areas are included in the New York Metro markets:

  • New York City & the Five Boroughs
  • Nassau-Suffolk (Long Island, NY)
  • Middlesex-Somerset-Union (NJ)
  • Monmouth County (NJ, part of Monmouth-Ocean market)
  • Morristown (NJ)
  • Putnam, Rockland, Westchester (NY, part of Hudson Valley market)
  • Stamford-Norwalk (CT)

These markets are not included in the New York Metro:

  • Bridgeport (CT)
  • Danbury (CT)
  • New Haven (CT)
  • Poughkeepsie (NY)
