Color theme[edit]

I edited it to the theme of Final Straw. If anyone has an objection, please take it to the talk page first before reverting. I guess custom colors are allowed because I have seen Template:Scuderia Ferrari and Template:American Idol. Suede67 (talk) 01:19, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Themes we might choose from[edit]

I cannot edit the font color, because it will stay the same color when clicked, which is one problem a user noted earlier. Suede67 (talk) 23:25, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For Songs for Polarbears:

For When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up:

For Final Straw:

For Eyes Open:

For A Hundred Million Suns:

Another suggestion[edit]

I have noticed that the problem above of color staying the same when link is clicked happens ONLY when the said text is BOLD. Here is a new suggestion, the BOLD of "current members" is now removed. This must work just fine now. One advantage of using this is we get to CHOOSE a font color, and the AHMS theme can now be improved, we can have a white font of something. I personally like the green template. It really stands out in comparison with the rest I think. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 23:55, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Same for me, though I would like to use the second idea in green Suede67 (talk) 23:57, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I can't choose between FS and EO xD. RichV (talk) 18:08, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How will we decide then? Suede67 (talk) 18:10, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think that the green colour is too sharp and there will be possible compliants. I'd choose the Eyes Open-edition, since most people relate SP with Eyes Open. Agree? RichV (talk) 15:32, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The green is sharp on your eyes?! It isnt on mine though. Anyway, i dont think we should make a choice on what album people like most, but on which colors look best. Really. If its still EO, i dont have a problem, i like that theme myself, but i like the green one more. Suede67 (talk) 16:52, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Though I know I'm not a regular Snow Patrol contributor and can't really judge which is most appropriate based on the albums, I would like to make a few points about the colour schemes. I've already said above that the green one is my personal favourite, but I think either the green, the orangish one, or the grey would work fine. Both of the yellow options seem a bit too bright to me and begin to strain the eyes after a short while (the second one has the added disadvantage of the links not changing colour after clicking them), and the black, though striking at first, makes it difficult to see the text in the template at all. From a strictly aesthetics view, the green, orange, or grey templates are probably the best options. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 03:33, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Very well, good points. The gray one is final then, we all agree. No one seems to have a problem with that one. Suede67 (talk) 03:38, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
