Template still under development[edit]

There are whole series of articles that can be pulled together under this template, in a way that will be useful and of interest to anyone interested in this booming social research, market research, opinion polling etc industry.

If and where time permits, I anticipate over next month, to work through some of the articles .. and this template can similarly expect to change, include more 'social survey' related articles, more notable examples of social surveys and, I hope, start making more sense?!

Please allow above time to develop before passing judgement, and, of course, feel free to expand and help improve the template's use, and the articles the template seeks to interlink and assist users more quickly navigate across! Bruceanthro (talk) 13:51, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Major Surveys[edit]

Seems like several more should be added. I've seen the World Values Survey used a lot more than the International Social Survey Program (World Values seems to be the "standard"). There are also the various "Barometers" (World Barometer, Euro Barometer, Arab Barometer, etc.). In America (though this section is already highly America focused), ADDHEALTH is probably at least as widely used as National Elections (though by very different groups of researchers obviously). Speaking of, Should the US Census be on there? Perhaps a link that says "National Censuses" and then just links to the Census page. 78.175.186.128 (talk) 11:34, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
