Overlapping/Redundant Categories for Lexicographers[edit]

Hello: I've been cleaning up various social science categories, and when I was going thru Category:Lexicographers I discovered the following two categories: Category:Arab lexicographers‎ and Category:Lexicographers of Arabic‎ (which I cat-sorted to display under "Arabic‎" right after the other Category). Obviously there is a technical distinction between the two; however I am having a hard time believing that there is actually a substantive difference in the real world. In other words (no pun intended), have there actually been notable Arab lexicographers‎ whose focus was on some language other than Arabic‎?? Or would it make sense to merge these two categories? P.S. Please be sure to Ping me when you reply. Thanks! Anomalous+0 (talk) 08:39, 26 September 2021 (UTC)

Arabeyes up for deletion[edit]

Open source publisher trying to aid Arab language users with their computers etc. It was established in early 2001 by a number of Arab Linux enthusiasts. Trying to find sources is hampered by the presumed language of sources. It is a systemic bias in Wikipedia. Arabic language speakers needed. 7&6=thirteen () 15:40, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
