Overlapping/Redundant Categories for Lexicographers
Hello: I've been cleaning up various social science categories, and when I was going thru Category:Lexicographers I discovered the following two categories: Category:Arab lexicographers and Category:Lexicographers of Arabic (which I cat-sorted to display under "Arabic" right after the other Category). Obviously there is a technical distinction between the two; however I am having a hard time believing that there is actually a substantive difference in the real world. In other words (no pun intended), have there actually been notable Arab lexicographers whose focus was on some language other than Arabic?? Or would it make sense to merge these two categories? P.S. Please be sure to Ping me when you reply. Thanks! Anomalous+0 (talk) 08:39, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
Open source publisher trying to aid Arab language users with their computers etc. It was established in early 2001 by a number of Arab Linux enthusiasts. Trying to find sources is hampered by the presumed language of sources. It is a systemic bias in Wikipedia. Arabic language speakers needed. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:40, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
