This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.
If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the
display=none parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.
The Estonia–Russia border article is a translated article from the Russian language Wikipedia. It doesn't even mention the word "occupation" or mention the Soviet invasion, so I doubt it isn't biased... H2ppyme (talk) 14:55, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Could you please review my article?
Tere! I am a beginner and recently made several articles about Estonian companies, but one of them "in review" since December , and the second one since February . I really want to improve them, so when you get a moment would you mind taking a look at them and tell me what to do next? Any advice would be very useful! Have a wonderful day! Notability concern with NYYD Ensemble
The article is referenced only to the subject's own webpage. All possible sourcing I see seems to be in Estonian. Comments on notability appreciated. Notable or PROD/AFDable? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:04, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
Women in Red Europe contest
After successfully completing our Asia and Africa contests over the past six months, we now welcome contributions to our Women in Europe contest which runs for three separate months from April to June 2021. To qualify for the contest, articles have to contain at least 160 words or 1,000 characters of running text and participants need to be members of Women in Red. We look forward to lots of new biographies of women from Estonia.--Ipigott (talk) 06:44, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
