ОписаниеMalayan Emergency headhunting and poles.jpg
English: Corpses of guerrillas belonging to the Malayan National Liberation Army (MNLA). They were killed by British soldiers during the Malayan Emergency. The British Army regiment that killed them was the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment, which fought in Malaya between 1951-1954. Two of the corpses are attached to wooden poles, which was a common method used by the British to retrieve the corpses of guerrillas. The severed heads of a third guerrilla is also visible. Decapitating suspected MNLA guerrillas and communists was a common practice by the British and their allies during the Malayan Emergency.
