Non-ordinary passports[عدل]

Holders of various categories of official passports have additional visa-free access to the following countries - أذربيجان (diplomatic or service passports), مصر (diplomatic or service passports), إندونيسيا (diplomatic or service passports), ساحل العاج (diplomatic or service passports), باكستان (diplomatic or service passports), روسيا (diplomatic passports), تركيا (diplomatic, official, service or special passports). Holders of diplomatic or service passports of any country have visa-free access to الرأس الأخضر، إثيوبيا، مالي and زيمبابوي.

Right to consular protection in non-EU countries[عدل]

When in a non-EU country where there is no Austrian embassy, Austrian citizens as EU citizens have the right to get consular protection from the embassy of any other EU country present in that country.
