Children's television awards show program broadcast in 1995
The 8th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was held on May 20, 1995, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California .[1] Whitney Houston was the host.[2] Over twenty-six million kids participated in the voting.[1] This is the first show to be held at the Barker Hangar in California. This was also the first time that the show had a bigger budget than the previous years with the stage taking on the theme of an airport (fitting since the Barker Hangar is also part of the Santa Monica Airport)
Performers [ edit ] Glamour Girls & Melodic performed during the opening of the show.[1]
Presenters [ edit ] In addition, Planet Hollywood segments were shot in Manhattan's Planet Hollywood (with David Sidoni , Nicole Tom and Michael Cade ), Walt Disney World's Planet Hollywood (with Phil Moore and Jonathan Brandis ) and London's Planet Hollywood (with the hosts of Nick UK) for the Hall of Fame nominees and Larisa Oleynik , Jason Kidd and the original cast of All That (Angelique Bates , Lori Beth Denberg , Katrina Johnson , Kel Mitchell , Alisa Reyes , Josh Server and Kenan Thompson ) also appeared throughout the show. Curry was also shown at the end as Whitney's slime bodyguard and got slimed himself.
