Some of the vineyards in Brochon are part of the appellation d'origine contrôlée Gevrey-Chambertin, and some are part of Fixin appellation. Most are however only entitled to the Côte-de-nuits-villages [fr] (AOC) appellation. There is no Brochon appellation.
