Gold is a compilation album by German hard rock band Scorpions.[1] It was released in 2006 on Hip-O Records.
Background
[edit]The record, released as part of the Gold album series, is one of the group's few career-spanning sets, featuring songs from both the RCA and Mercury Records catalogue.
Gold spans the era from 1972's Lonesome Crow through 1993's Face The Heat, including at least one song from all studio albums of that period. It is capped off with two tracks previously released on hits compilations from 1997 and 2002.
