Season chronology |
India's Got Talent season 8 started on 20 October 2018.[1] Actress Malaika Arora Khan, director and producer Karan Johar, and veteran actress Kirron Kher returned as the judges. Bharti Singh returned to present the show. Rithvik Dhanjani also hosted the show.
Close-up magician Javed Khan was announced as the winner on 29 December 2018.

The golden buzzer returned for its fourth series. This year the golden buzzer acts will go straight to "Semi-Finals". For the first time, the hosts were also allowed to use the Golden Buzzer for an act.

Finals Summary[edit]
The finale was conducted in two parts, a pre-finale and a grand finale.
Pre Finale: India Ka Faisla (23 December)[edit]
The top 8 acts along with a public wildcard performed for the public votes which would be carried forward to the finale.
A group golden buzzer was also given that advances that act to top 5 finalist, exempting public votes.
Grand Finale (29 December)[edit]
