Mugaiyur is one of the block in Viluppuram District, Tamil Nadu, India.
Etymology
[edit]The name Mugaiyur means mugai (bud) + oor (a small settlement or village).
Politics
[edit]Mugaiyur assembly constituency had been clubbed into the Tirukoilur constituency.[1]
