Plaksha University is a not-for-profit private research university located in Mohali, Punjab, India.^[2] Founded by businessmen and technology entrepreneurs and corporate-funded technical university, established under the Punjab State Private Universities Policy of 2010. Spread in 50-acre campus in Sector 101 A near the Chandigarh International Airport.^[3]

Plaksha University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, computer science, data science, and entrepreneurship.

Plaksha University has established several research centers focused on technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable energy.^{[citation needed]}
