Sarbaz District (Persian: بخش سرباز) is a former administrative division of Sarbaz County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Sarbaz.[3]

History

In September 2018, Kishkur, Minan, and Naskan Rural Districts were separated from the district in the establishment of three districts of the same names, each with a new rural district: Machan, Kazur, and Balochi, respectively. Sarbaz and Sarkur Rural Districts, and the city of Sarbaz, were transferred from Sarbaz District to the Central District.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 80,570 in 15,792 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 72,346 people in 15,695 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 91,274 inhabitants in 22,634 households.[2]
