Stuart P. M. Mackintosh

Stuart P.M. Mackintosh is a British economist and financial author that is currently the Executive Director of the Group of Thirty, an international financial think tank.[1] He oversees the Group's program of studies, project development, event planning and annual fundraising.

Mackintosh became Vice President of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) in October 2015 NABE Board, and in June 2016 he was elected as the 2016-2017 President of NABE.

Mackintosh delivered his NABE presidential address on September 23, 2017 in Cleveland Ohio, at the organization's annual conference. In it he said NABE members had to be 'ready to defend truth'.[2] The speech was titled 'Business Economics in a Post-Truth Era', and was published in the Business Economics Journal.[3]

Mackintosh is a past Director of the NABE Foundation. He serves on the advisory boards of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, and the World Affairs Council. Mackintosh was elected a member of the Conference of Business Economists, an invitation-only organization of economists in the United States, in 2014.
