The music was composed by G. K. Venkatesh.[4] However, there are claims that the song Baa Thaaye Bharathiye was originally written by TN Balakrishna when he heard the news that his wife gave birth to a baby girl (who was eventually named Bharathi) and his then friend GV Iyer asked Balakrishna to allow him to use that song for this movie that too with Iyer's name as the lyricist to which Balakrishna permitted heartfully.[5]
