Ulrich Thein (7 April 1930 – 21 June 1995) was a German actor, film director and screenwriter.[1] He appeared in more than 40 films and television shows between 1953 and 1995. He won the award for Best Actor at the 11th Moscow International Film Festival in 1979 for his role in Anton the Magician.[2] He directed the 1982 film Romance with Amelie, which was entered into the 32nd Berlin International Film Festival.[3] His written legacy is in the archives of the Academy of Arts in Berlin.[4]
