Please don’t bite me, I’m a newbie!

I’m a university student in a Wikipedia Education class, and I’m currently learning how to contribute to Wikipedia.
I am approaching my subject in good faith.

If you have any concerns or questions, my tutor’s name is coconutoil4eva (talk · contribs). Thanks!

Your work on Agreed Measures is one of the best student efforts I've seen in my 15 years of being a Wikipedia editor. I upgraded it to B-class. You could consider nominating it for a Good Article review. But be aware that the nomination might not get picked up by a review for weeks to months, and if it does, you will need to address the reviewer's comments in a timely and competent fashion. A quibble - in my opinion, you over-Wikilinked to many words that are so braodly understood as to not need these links. I de-linked at least 20, but I suggest you go through the entire article with a more conservative eye toward promiscuous Wikilinking. David notMD (talk) 14:59, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@David notMD: Thank you so much for taking a look at the article and upgrading! Sorry about all the hyperlinks and thanks for making time to remove some - it looks much better. I really appreciate your help and quick responses! Bambixie (talk) 18:12, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora

[edit]

On 7 June 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora, passed in 1964, established the first international rules for wildlife conservation in Antarctica? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
