Question from SashaVuk (02:27, 12 May 2025)

[edit]

Dear Stella,

As I am often to do I looked up "Cow" on wikipedia, I like cows. I then clicked random article, read a little bit, and noticed that a number was incorrect. I plan on exercising a bit of liberty and changing it from 10->14. Is there anywhere that it's good practice to explain why I am going to make a change? It's sort of just. "The article says so and I counted myself."

Thank you, SashaVuk, Someone who has been assigned to have you as a mentor --SashaVuk (talk) 02:27, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Creation backlog drive

[edit]

Hello LunaEclipse:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in June!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than 1 month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 June 2025 through 30 June 2025.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3200 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:25, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked an element and now I can't see any pictures. I really haven't a clue here. It was the picture on todays featured article because I didn't like the picture. Now I can't see any pictures when I read an article. Thanks. --Themightyatom131983 (talk) 13:03, 22 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

We are ignoring the obvious, so do you have a name or subject we should consider?
Can you suggest a DYK style hook?
If you are shy about editing that page, you are welcome to add ideas and comments on the talk page.

Question from EricAlterman (13:11, 5 June 2025)

[edit]

Hi Luna, I don't think I should write an article about myself, but a variety of existing wikipedia articles reference my status as founder of numerious high profile technology ventures and I'm often asked why there is not a short article about me that aggregates the story. Here is one of my companies, which also references a few of the other companies I founded. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KickApps Here's another independent article in techcrunch. There's some vanity in that, but also I think there should an article that aggregates my startup story, which has been influential in the tech world. Any suggestions as to get this done? Much appreciated. Eric --EricAlterman (talk) 13:11, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
